The subject of this photo was found in an alleyway in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago, IL. It was a painted metal sheet nailed to a utility pole, the purpose unknown. Time and weather had rusted the metal and cracked and flaked the paint. What resulted was an accidental composition of abstract, layered implications in interplaying patern and chaos.
